HB&B Can Station at Serious Pig

This is a great idea: Hop Burns & Black have opened a new place a few doors up from Brick Brewery in the Serious Pig premises, but it’s a shop and bar with a difference. Firstly, it sells only canned beer – but what a great selection, of around 80 in total, all high quality from stellar breweries. Secondly, it’s primarily a ‘can station’ for take away beer, but you’re welcome to drink any of the cans on site, inside or outside in the ‘beer garden’ at the front (though the licence imposes a maximum of 20 people on site at any time). I’m pretty certain this is London’s first ‘all can’ beer shop/bar, and I suspect they may have hit on a winning formula. It’s here for the summer only, and only open Saturdays 12-6, but what a great addition to an area already boasting several great options for good beer. Enjoy!
